As part of a campaign to plant 500 million trees nationwide in a single day, Bonga Polytechnic College staff has planted trees inside the campus. A variety of plant types are included in the plantation campaign which includes coffee, banana, etc. Beside planting seedlings, caring of previously planted trees have been taking place. College dean Mr. Zelalem Zewdie remarked that such initiative should be internalized so that our campus can contribute to environmental protection activities. The dean also emphasized that on caring of those plants until they have grown. The team sprit was appreciable so that it should be continued for other endeavors, he added.
