Level 1
This program is designed to develop the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude of the trainees to the standard required by the occupation. The contents of this program are in line with the occupational standard.
The trainee who successfully completes the program will be qualified to work as a Garment Producer with competencies elaborated in the respective OS.
Graduates of the program will have the required qualification to work in the Industry Sector in the field of Garment production. The prime objective of this training program is to equip the Trainees with the identified competencies specified in the OS.
Graduates are therefore expected to:
- Understand garment-manufacturing process,
- Draw and Interpret Basic Sketch,
- Develop Basic Patterns, Produce cut panels,
- Produce Simple garments,
- Perform Hand Embroidery,
- Perform Garment product Finishing, and
- Apply 5s Procedures
in accordance with the performance criteria and evidence guide described in the OS.
Level 2
This program is designed to develop the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitude of the trainees to the standard required by the occupation. The contents of this program are in line with the occupational standard.
The trainee who successfully completed the program will be qualified to work as a Garment producer with competencies elaborated in the respective OS.
Graduates of the program will have the required qualification to work in the Industry sector in the field of Garment Production. The prime objective of this training program is to equip the Trainees with the identified competencies specified in the OS.
Graduates are therefore expected to:
- Prepare Design Concept for Collection of Simple Outfits,
- Develop Pattern and Conduct Grading,
- Produce cut panels with Delicate Fabrics,
- Operate Specialized Industrial Machines,
- Prepare and Perform Embroidery Design and Machine operation,
- Assemble Garment Parts,
- Apply Apparel Finishing,
- Prevent and eliminate MUDA
in accordance with the performance criteria and evidence guide described in the OS.
Level 3
This program is designed to develop the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude of the trainees to the standard required by the occupation. The contents of this program are in line with the occupational standard.
The trainee who successfully completed the Program will be qualified to work as a Garment Producer with competencies elaborated in the respective OS.
Graduates of the program will have the required qualification to work in the Industry sector in the field of Garment production. The prime objective of this training program is to equip the trainees with the identified competences specified in the OS.
Graduates are therefore expected to:
- Interact with Garment Production Personnel,
- Implement CAD System in pattern production,
- Perform cost estimates for garments products,
- Perform cutting operation,
- Set and produce digital embroidery,
- Sew Woven and Stretch Knit Fabrics,
- Apply Finishing on Garment Product, and
- Maintain and repair garment machineries
in accordance with the performance criteria and evidence guide described in the OS.
Level 4
The Program is designed to develop the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude of the trainees to the standard required by the occupation. The contents of this program are in line with the occupational standard.
The Trainees who successfully completed the Program will be qualified to work as a Garment producer with competencies elaborated in the respective OS.
Graduates of the program will have the required qualification to work in the Industry sector in the field of garment production. The prime objective of this training program is to equip the Trainees with the identified competences specified in the OS.
Graduates are therefore expected to:
- Organize Garment production process,
- Perform Machine layout for product change,
- Drape fabrics to make patterns,
- Produce Advanced Garment products,
- Improve Garment production process,
- Apply textile coloration and finishing, and
- Apply statistics to operational processes
in accordance with the performance criteria and evidence guide described in the OS
Level 5
This program is designed to develop the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude of the trainees to the standard required by the occupation. The contents of this program are in line with the occupational standard.
The trainees who successfully completed the Program will be qualified to work as a Garment Producer with competencies elaborated in the respective OS.

- Manage Organizational Business and system Performance,
- Prepare production planning and controlling process,
- Use Planning Software Systems in Production,
- Monitor Operational processes and production improvement,
- Apply Statistics to Manufacturing Processes,
- Analyze fit model, and
- Develop merchandising plans for garment products
in accordance with the performance criteria and evidence guide described in the OS.
