Level 1
The Program is designed to develop the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitude of the trainees to the standard required by the occupation. The contents of this program are in line with the occupational standard.
The Trainees who successfully completed the Program will be qualified to work as a Web Development & Database Administration Assistant I with competencies elaborated in the respective OS.
Graduates of the program will have the required qualification to work in the Economic Infrastructure (EIS) sector in the field of Web development and Database Administration.
Graduates are therefore expected to:
- Operate Personal Computer,
- Connect Hardware Peripherals,
- Install Software Applications,
- Protect Application or System Software,
- Maintain Inventories of Hardware and Software and Documentation,
- Operate word-processing applications,
- Operate Spreadsheet Applications,
- Create a simple markup language document,
- Access and Use Database Applications, and
- Apply 5S Procedures
in accordance with the performance criteria and evidence guide described in the OS.
Level 2
The Program is designed to develop the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitude of the trainees to the standard required by the occupation. The contents of this program are in line with the occupational standard.
The Trainees who successfully completed the Program will be qualified to work as a Web Development and Database Administration Assistant II with competencies elaborated in the respective OS. - Administrate Network and Hardware Peripherals,
- Implement maintenance Procedures,

- Prevent and Eliminate MUDA Procedures
in accordance with the performance criteria and evidence guide described in the OS.
Level 2

The Trainees who successfully completed the Program will be qualified to work as a Web developer and Database administrator IV with competencies elaborated in the respective OS.
Graduates of the program will have the required qualification to work in the Economic Infrastructure Sector (EIS) in the field of Web development and database administration. The prime objective of this training program is to equip the Trainees with the identified competencies specified in the OS.
Graduates are therefore expected to:
- Estimate cost for Web and database projects,
- Monitor and Administer Databases,
- Apply Object-Oriented Programming Language Skills,
- Use Advanced Structured Query Language,
- Determine the Suitability of Database Functionality and Scalability,
- Perform Database System Tests,
- Complete Database Backup and Recovery,
- Create Technical Documentation,
- Produce basic Server-side script for dynamic web pages, and
- Maintain Website Information standard
in accordance with the performance criteria and evidence guide described in the OS.
Level 5
The Program is designed to develop the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitude of the trainees to the standard required by the occupation. The contents of this program are in line with the occupational standard.
The Trainees who successfully completed the Program will be qualified to work as a Web Development and Database Administration Technical Manager with competencies elaborated in the respective OS.
Graduates of the program will have the required qualification to work in the Economic Infrastructure Sector (EIS) sector in the field of Web Development and Database Administration.
Graduates are therefore expected to:
- Establish and Maintain Client User Liaison,
- Match Web and database Needs with the Strategic Direction of the Enterprise,
- Research and apply emerging web technology trends,
- Develop System Infrastructure Design Plan for Web and Database,
- Develop complex cascading style sheets, Manage Web and database Projects, and
- Prepare Disaster Recovery and Contingency Plan
in accordance with the performance criteria and evidence guide described in the OS.
